Whee! Look at all the pretty colors!

As I'm typing this, I'm searching for a way to fix my sidebar. Since I easily get sidetracked, I'm changing the colors here and there as well as making a temporary picture to replace the one holding the blog title: Cramped Abyss. So far, I only accomplished only 1 of 3. -_- At least I have something to do.

PS3 technical demo: how the opening of Final Fantasy VII would look if it was on the PS3
Hopefully I can watch it in computer with a brighter screen.

RO log: ┼Shinto┼

This sucks. I go around the forest, killing spores, willows, porings who are minding their own bussiness as well as the occasional poporing, if I feel lucky. Suddenly, a merchant follows me around looking like he's ready to kill steal, then he asks me if the payon map is broken. As I haven't been doing much since the opening of the Loki server, my respawn point is still outside Payon. Thus, I wasn't sure what he was talking about. So, I go to Payon to put his mind at ease... only to get lost and confused.

WHAT DID THEY DO TO MY HOME!!!!!!!! I know I haven't been going home lately, but that did not give the village elder permission to satisfy his interior design urges on my home. He... completely change Payon, now that I look around to notice it. There are too many new NPCs I don't recognize. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? Even the Kafra moved. She never moves from her spot! Did she run away with my storage items? Kafra Corp. is going to hear a complaint about this... once I'm strong enough or rich enough to go to their headquarters.

At least I found the dealers as well as a new "repair man" which I have no idea what he does. (after all, all of us have the irresistable urge to quickly discard any weapon blacksmiths fail at)

The Village chief must have replaced the air with molasses again. I can hardly move around. My friends at archer village did say something about impeaching him. Too bad we don't follow a democracy. Heck, I don't know what type of government we are under. The chief's position is not even justified by divine right since we are at a war against the gods. War against gods... we are screwed. I don't care what everyone else does, I'm sticking to my own little war against animated trees and blobs of jelly.

Even the landscape is different. What did he do? Hire a bunch of wizards to LOVe the entire place? The ground is more irregular. There are no main roads I can see right now. My house is ruined. This place is led by an idiot. Thats it. I'm moving to Alberta.

From ceremony, to nature and heat, to anime and the return to RO

My sister's wedding took around 2 long hours. At least I stayed awake. My legs were very tired from standing too long though. People walk too slow.
The reception was good, I enjoyed the speeches and the food was different. I never tasted bacon wrapped around breaded shrimp or fish stuffed with shrimp before. After the speeches, almost everyone kept going to the dance floor. My entire family stayed in the hotel where the reception was held. Day 1 of no internet.

My family got prepared and left the hotel around noon. I arrived home after we ate lunch... I think. I don't remember. I got to use the computer for 10 minutes to check email and other commonly updated pages. We had to eat out for dinner afterwards to get to know the Pio Rodas more. Thus ended my short return. Day 2 of almost no internet. I packed for a week's vacation in Boracay barely before midnight.

Boracay was a long, so I'll summarize this into 3 parts:

The bad - Intense heat, sunburn, and 5 times the mosquito bites I usually get. No cable or internet either for 4 days. Bathrooms are too... open. So much that it threatens privacy.

The good - calamansi and dalandan shakes as well as the few chocolate shakes I had. It isn't just because of the relief from the heat, they're a lot better than those in manila.

The somewhat interesting - A dog jumped on my dad's back when he was swimming. Other people started playing with it after. Riding tricycles with very reckless drivers. Its like I had a very good chance of falling off several times.

Now that that's done, and you most probably lost interest and stopped reading, I can talk about one of the more recent and disappointing experience: The Animax convention.

It was very boring. I couldn't enjoy the games they had there, but at least I got a poster, although I don't recognize anything in it. The announcers were, well, idiots. They treated everyone like 4 year olds. They questioned the intelligence of the fans that gathered in the convention. There was nothing. Just some Astroboy merchendise and gundam model kits. I left with R2 to get a bite to eat and go to starmall. I can finally watch Tokyo Underground and I played RO after a seemingly long absence. I died several times in Orc Dungeon and lost a lot of zeny on kafra warps. There was a very fun exchange of quotes between Vaelfor, a crusader and I. R2 might get into detail on that when he posts.
