NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!

*ahem* now that that's do- I have Power Rangers The Movie!! POWER RANGERS!! I have Forever Red!! POWER RANGERS!! SENTAI!! POOOWWEEEERR RAAAANGEEEERSSSSSZZZ!!!! SENTAAAAAAAAIIIIIIII!!!
*ahem* now that that's really done, time for me to state what has happened today. *clears throat* NEEEEEEWWWWWW!!!! -_- I should stop that already. Anyway, I shall now state what has happened today.

R2 was treating for lunch! Plus the fact that he's now loaded with Christmas money! How could I refuse his request to go on this little get together? I was already at Shang by 9:50. I actually had to wait for it to open. This almost never happens to me. Even though I slept at 12, I woke up at 6:00 without any help from external forces. O.o I usually wake up MUCH later. I was the first to Power Station, hehe. That was the first time I noticed the new guitar freaks machine.(NEEEE- *ahem*) Of course I tried the new songs first! What point is the upgrade if I don't enjoy the new features?

Liu came after I finished the first song I was playing. R2 came when I was playing it again with Liu. Jake came when I was playing Initial D. and etcetera. Liu and I decided to play 1 more game when R2 and Jake decided to go off to Podium. What a great decision that turned out to be! We met Rika when we were about to leave and waited for Khan. We played more, I gave further proof that I was not meant to dance and found out I still cannot play Khan's selection of songs. We went to Powerbooks and oogled at the books. Liu mentioned buying Yaoi in SM. This turned out to be his downfall as we constantly teased him about this throughout the day. Obtaining Kang's number and several messages and delays after, we went off to Podium and told Kang to go there. I did tell them that R2 was pissed off and wanted us to go there already! It's just that... my words were steathy! Yes! Very stealthy! It passed their ears unnoticed!

By the time we made it to Power Station, R2 went down to find us. It took a while before he found out. and yelled at us. and make a fool out of himself. We ate lunch at... umm, I'll leave that detail for others to mention. I didn't forget! That moment was filled with green jokes, left and right. It's suprising that you can find something perverted in about anything.

Karaoke room was... painful... and fun... yet painful. More painful for R2 than anyone else. He's the one who brought us to the Karaoke room and paid for the songs, even. He IS a masochist. We discovered the fun of playing with volume. Very suggestive songs were sung by Liu and Khan. Pillow fights every while. Kicking Artoo constantly from time to time. *sob* Kang, Rika and Khan sitting on me while artoo and Khan tied my shoelaces. The pillow that came with them saved my life. No rib-poking that time. I even sang once. It must have been painful for those that had to listen. Kang even got me to dance. Khan and Jake went out once in a while to play tennis. I tried it but still don't get how to play properly. In between song, we just said and impersonated random things. Too bad rika had to leave so soon.

We stayed long enough that R2 was still able to treat us to dinner. Don't you love free food? I do! At Shang, I got those 3 CDs. Those 3 wonderful CDs. Those 3 lovable CDs. Those 3 CDs that are now mine. Preciousssss... We separated at around 7:00. I remember Khan saying that they had to get something, but I do not recall. MRT experience this time was suprisingly... not tight. I think that covers about most of what we did. What happened in R2's and Jake's side while they were waiting will most probably be told by R2 later. I could go on to what happened after until this loops several times, but that would be a waste of space, wouldn't it?

NNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWW!!!!!! Sorry, I couldn't resist 1 more.

Finally, my last day of community service. I got my chance to do what I should have finished earlier.

Goals:
- obtain signed green document from La Salle
- obtain permission to go to Shangri-La
- obtain Genshiken Vol. 2 for Benji
- find way to Power Station at Podium(I have to be able to go there alone for me to believe that I know the way there)
- estimate time required to reach Power Station at Podium
- go home by 5:30 to be able to watch King Kong with family

By 10, I gave the unsigned green document from La Salle. It took me until 3:50 to call to see if it was time and to obtain the signed green document from La Salle. I had an hour and a half to get Genshiken and to confirm the way to Power Station at Podium. I found out Powerbooks at Shang only had 1 copy of Genshiken vol. 1 left. I gave up searching for it by 4:05 or so. I began my speedrun(more accurately, undistracted walk, but I sacrificed accuracy for familiarity of terms) and quickly found my way to Podium's PowerStation. About 15 minutes from top floor of Shang to Power Station of Podium. Scanned for any games noteworthy for when I have to go there. Since I don't recall much besides the Time Crisis and Air Hockey table, I guess there wasn't much. I couldn't see it very well from the entrance, but I saw movement inside the Karaoke room. Didn't think that detail would be important until later on. Took 20 minutes going to the Shaw MRT from Power Station. So travel time - side trips - distractions = 15 to 20 minutes. I rang the doorbell of my house at exactly 5:30, according to my watch. I rushed all the way back and didn't bother checking other bookstores for Genshiken vol. 2 only to find that my dad was going to arrive late and I could have wasted another hour. Now, I type this post. After reading through comments of known Live Journals and checking the what day of the week it is, I realized what that movement I saw in the Karaoke room was.

There's always Fully Booked. I remember seeing a lot of copies of vol. 2 Genshiken there. I just have to remember to bring just the right amount of cash. If I bring more than P1000, I just might- Augh, money... losing... CONTROL!! *buys Batman Manual/any martial art tutorial book/Dilbert/Calvin and Hobes/etc.*

Ever since I discovered Youtube.com thanks to Kang's post in Liu's blog, I've been browsing through the videoes. I just happen to enjoy this particular tribute to sentai:

Since people wanted to recall it, and newer people wanted to see it, I dig up the Beowulf summary from my blog:

Beowulf tried to invade Grendel's mother's home but failed because he couldn't scale the vaseline covered smooth marble walls. He tried to fight off the guards of the lair but the old men's ramblings were too long and boring. Beowulf was forced to surrender. He worked as the sea hag's lap dancer for 7 years until the rat kings attacked the lair and saved Beowulf. During the journey back, the rat kings taught Beowulf the secrets of toilet flushing. That night, Beowulf backstabbed the rat kings. He defeated all of them with a Knights of The Round materia.

Later, he found himself near the cave of the Hamhams united. At the entrance, he met Bilbo Baggins who gave him The One Ring. He put the ring on and was about to enter the cave until he saw the Ring wraiths. The Ring wraiths then proceeded to stab him with really pointy knives that burn with the evil of a 1000 hells. Harry Potter then came and saw Beowulf's corpse. He pilfered all of Beowulf's belongings including The One Ring.

Several years later, Harry ruled the muggle world with an iron fist. With him was his wife, Sauron and the dancing bananna. After a few more years of listening to the song that never ends, a rebellion was raised. The group was called "Krusty Boxers". There were about 100 people and 5 influencial leaders above them. The leaders were called the "Meaty-Cheesy Rangers". They invaded Harry's heavily armed fortress with large highly advanced mechas and handheld BFGs. During the attack, they suffered great losses. Their only accomplishment of leaking on a tree at the front yard was not enough for them. There were only 10 left including the Meaty-Cheesy Rangers. Their funds were only enough to buy earmuffs and toothpicks for each member. With their advanced skills of eye-poking, toothpick flinging and retrieving, and farting at will, the Crusty Boxers ended Harry's reign. Shortly after their victory, Darth Vader blew up the planet.

Moral: Never leave a platypus alone inside a freezer.

I won't be online for tommorow. My parents decided its about time I started my "community service". As you might notice, I updated my links. I guess you can say I expanded to Live Journal as well. Who can find the link to it in this blog, though?

Who would have known we'd spend most of our time at a karaoke room that day?
There was the convention, with it's sale on series and OVAs, toys and figures to stare at, People dubbing anime badly(mostly on purpose), band playing classical songs(Mario Theme!), and cosplay parade(which we didn't stay for). Got a few clear shots of some cosplayers posing and others not noticing me.

There was also Powerstation, with its collection of games. I don't see anything great in a karaoke, but enjoyed the time there nevertheless. After all, there was J-Pop! Thanks to Kang and Rika(who spent so much time picking songs) and Artoo(who decided we didn't suffer enough and gave them 4 more songs), we stayed there for at LEAST 2 hours. What happened there? Random picture taking, R2 in a fetal position, maiming Jake, pillow fight, lots and lots of pictures(contrary to Liu's post in his blog(which finally revived), not all pictures were of Rika and Kang), the blinding of all men in the room in courtesy of Rika's drawing on my sketchpad, making and waving of Help Me signs, and of course, Rika and Kang singing. There was never a moment of silence in the room. Silence was greatly missed. andartoosawjake'saddress!

We should bring new people more often. Even though they lost the coin toss, Jake still fed us for free since it was his first time meeting Kang and Rika. An interesting revelation discovered about those of us present that day. It was Jake's first time treating Rika and Kang, 2nd time treating Artoo, 3rd time treating Liu, and 4th time treating me. So who's first is it going to be next time? As usual, this was the point of random conversation. I remember origami was talked about at some point. That and Home Economics/Management.

MRT was tight, as always. Couldn't move my feet side to side, and I couldn't raise them far enough. Stupid backpacks. I had to bend backwards the entire trip and rely on friction for balance.

Glee!

Right click here, right now!
hehehe, I just wanted to test something. I'll most probably remove it on my next update. I kinda feel bad for not asking for some reason. -_-a

Ah, the curses of my life. One that I have fallen victim to the most was my birthday curse. If I let my guard down, becoming too carefree or too secure, I do something stupid and fate stabs me on the back. Somehow manipulating events where my mistake which would normally have minimal punishment would amplify, converting all possible joy I could have had into misery. Most of the family scolding and judging me, as if I did it on purpose, as if they were immune to making mistakes. One thing I admire about fate, It makes the situation bad, but makes it seem controllable, as if I could have avoided it somehow.

Fortunately, I found a way to avoid it from happening. I've known and used it in these last few years. Keeping event during my birthday to a minimum, giving fate less chances of pulling a big one on me. Possibly staying home, doing nothing out of the ordinary. The gifts are enough, after all. I would only allow myself to enjoy my birthday the day before, or the day after. Never on the day itself. So far, it has worked, and I shall repeat the same thing for this birthday.

There are quite a few "curses" I have. things that keep happening with the right conditions met. The rain curse, the curse that summons rain when I forget or don't bring a jacket and keeps the day as warm and dry as possible. Somehow developing the habit of bringing it almost everyday has weakened this curse severely and now rains as randomly as it should. I still shouldn't let my guard down yet, though. There are times when it seems to return.

The report card day curse. No matter how high my grades are, something happens, wheather I caused it or not and I get punished by my parents, if the event didn't punish me enough. This stupid curse discouraged me from trying to get grades higher than average.

The internet curse. On the worst possible time, I would get disconnected, if I could connect in the first place. Projects that I need to research on the internet are undone because of this. Free days are wasted because of this. I was delayed from playing RO when it first came out for several days because of this. I missed several one day only specials in the internet because of this. Not to mention that I’m a constant victim of Murphy’s law.

There are many more curses, many more. It’s just that they’re minor curses. By minor curses, I mean they don’t instantly come into mind when I decided to list the curses in my life that I have experienced. I have avoided triggering the Birthday curse so far, but I have been suffering from the internet curse since Saturday. Another long weekend wasted because of it.

"I may step into your trap, but I won't be kind enough to trigger it." - Kuraii(original character)

CURSE YOU INTERNET CURSE!!!! This was made on December 5, sometime around 5:30 on blogspot, and after many failures to post, saved on Microsoft Word. Whenever I’ll post this, I won’t bother editing because I’d probably be too lazy.

EDIT: ok, after I succeeded in posting this, the failed attempts suddenly appeared. To have accuracy on the time when the post was typed, I deleted every other "clone post" and edited the first failed attempt to show the complete version of the post.

Intrams day was great, and I'm not talking about sports. large supply of food and drinks, a TV(not portable), a PS2(regular size), and Jake's computer, as in monitor, CPU, mouse, and keyboard just for us benchwarmers... and some players. Too bad we couldn't stay in the study hall. Too much sun, and scarce cold air.

In addition to Khan's list of things we watched on Jake's computer,(too lazy to type in what someone already bothered to do) we watched the Gundam Evolve(Gundam going through Tai Chi stances) and everyone else enjoyed Jake's "cosplay" pictures. Hardly recognized any of them. Bleh. I think most of them were just imitating common anime stereotypes rather than imitating specific characters. I don't think Khan missed anything in games played.

I brought my sketchpad just in case I fall into boredom. I actually used it during reccess. or was it lunch? I don't remember. Khan took it and we eventually started the Kirby-Smiler war. Which evolved to the Kirby-Smiler-Poring war when Liu joined. and became the Kirby-Smiler-Poring war with another kind of smiler spectating when Benji joined. Random silliness including socks, the Deathstar, erasers, pokeballs, and the Pikachu-rocket. I can't even remember who won.

Though I didn't join any sport, I still felt too tired to commute home. I ended up joining R2 and Yang to play RO and Warcraft. Too bad not much happened there.

The following day, after repeating my daily trek around the dungeon I call school, I... I mean, after school the next day I responded to the call of the assembly of slackers... I mean I met the usual group(which I'm going to call The Table since its easier, regardless of the fact that I'm ripping off Khan.) so we could go off to Shang. Since a fraction of the table had to enter their strongholds... I mean return home by their scheduled pick-ups, only Jake, Khan, Artoo, Liu, and I were left.

Good thing too, since there was limited space in our assembled mecha- I mean limited space in Jake's car. My ribs were repeatedly stabbed by the cursed jagged knife of punishment... I mean were stabbed by Khan's very sharp hip bone, and struggling to escape the Force Choke... I mean struggling to breath, and unable to move my petrified arm... I mean put my arm down due to lack of space and limited capacity of joints. Imagine the draining blood there. As if that wasn't bad enough, the several blows of poison gas... I mean farts in courtesy of R2(smell it once, and you're sure to get nightmares about it), Khan(he was SITTING ON my lap, meaning I get the largest dosage of it), and I(vengance!). I could easily imagine us all falling off when the doors open since neither of us at the sides could reach the door handle. Evil Jake, since he was at the front, he was spared from suffering. At least the gas attack got to him.

Shang. R2 attempted Guitar Freaks, or should I say, "guitar abnormal man"? Jake and Khan at Tekken. Lost gloriously at Initial D(no one can lose better than I can!). Found out the power I use in punches are consistent. 415? 515? didn't remember what it was. For once, failed to make a fool out of myself in DanceMania(doesn't mean I didn't suck though). and I finally found out the effect of not restricting myself with my jacket and watch in Air Hockey against R2. scores of Me:R2 were, 7:2, 3:7(I think. can't recall properly), and 4:5(time ran out, before I shot my next goal. It could have been 5:5). I had an idea what would happen without my watch and jacket on, but this result seemed better.

Found a site to download the first 25 episodes of Aburangers. Seems ok so far, too bad it takes 30+ minutes to download.
