Colorful Delusions

Dear Diary,

I was riding my bus looking out the window when I saw Khan and r2 walking towards Viramall. They were waving at someone. When the bus went further, I saw that they were waving at Samonte. He waved back and ran towards them in the way people dramatically run slowly towards each other to hug in movies. The image still disturbs me up to now. Next time, I'll just sleep in the bus before I see another scarring sight. I'm glad I can always count on the porn pictures I put between your 32nd and 33rd pages to take my mind of things.

Stuffy Noses, Shattered Eardrums, and Heavy Feet

I woke up yesterday with a sudden cold. It took me several minutes before I got to breathe through my nose again. >.<

I gained 2 base levels with Ashoka! Thanks to Benji and Rika for that.

I HATE ties and coats.

I HATE contacts.

I miss my glasses.

On it's own, the prom sucked. The only positive points I found in the prom itself were the decorations and "freebies". But since I had to pay P1500 admittance fee, I don't think the latter counts. If they used the money on scattered rose petals for better food variety, I would be happy enough. I enjoyed the fudge brownie though.

Due to my mom, I ended up having a date. Anela was friendly, but not perky nor too shy. Just right, I guess. Spent most of the time trying to figure out a topic we can talk about rather than talking. Mostly my fault. She likes Warcraft and Starcraft. She's more lively with her friend Mady and Bryan Reyes.

Met with Gero, Ferrancol, Joey and CJ at the table. I was the only one who didn't stag. Introductions were repeated several times.

Duran, Eleazar, and Joel took the liberty of taking the empty seats in our table. Bah.

Former classmates suddenly remember me for some odd reason. Eleazar and Joel Santos kept nudging me to "make a move" on Anela. Eleazar is one of the primary reasons I ended up dancing. Bleh.

The food was good, but I kinda expected better food and more variety. I liked the fudge brownies.

I suck at dancing. I managed to avoid falling or stepping on toes, but I still suck. I almost managed to avoid dancing until Yang and Liu showed up. >.< Because "I had friends to dance with", I lost my final stand to avoid dancing. I even ended up dancing twice. Well, its not like I cared much for my dignity.

There was nothing spectacular about the music. Not good enough to take note of, but no major mistakes or problems.

Picture line was long and I had 2 picture stubs because I got another one when I thought I dropped the first one. I silently slipped the second one in my pocket. It could be a souvineir of some sort.

We stayed until the very end at around 12:10. Not many people were left. People were still taking pictures. I lost my... star pillow? and got another one. Gero and Joey were still around. After a re-introduction, the 3 of us talked again.

Bryan invited us to Dencio's. Bryan and I had some catching up to do since grade 5, Anela wanted to be with her friends, and there was food and no curfew. What else would I do?

Anela and I talked more with Brian and Mady, I saw Brian get hyper and try to bribe the waiter to give him beer. More introductions. Pictures. Illegal car race at the back. Bryan got both Tuna and Pork sisig as well as lemonade and sprite. I knew he wouldn't be able to finish it. Anela and I ended up eating part of the sisig. Though everyone pitched in on the bill, I ended up spending the most. Someone even stole my order. Yet, I still enjoyed it somehow, though I'm not quite sure why.

The prom was boring. But what happened on that day was fun.

Highly Delayed Anime Xplosion Post

It was fun

Well, it was.

The events were:

-the open forum
-art contest
-gundam model kit contest
-cosplay competition(this should have been at the top of the list. I blame my train of thought)

Spent one half of the morning watching an artist paint something interesting which I later found out was a close up on a brick wall. Bleh, should have known he was a background artist. Shoving expectations aside, his works are pretty good.

There was a booth with someone drawing caricatures of people. It would be interesting to see how mine looked like, but there was a large crowd. Didn't feel like going through the hassle.

Spent the other half of the morning listening to the open forum with some sentai directors. Bleh, I forgot to bring paper to get their autographs and their names. The highlight of the forum was when Sentai Cosplayer(who will now be called SC for the rest of this post since he may be mentioned often. It was either that or nicknaming him "Kanju" which sort of became his catchphrase during the cosplay) asked 3 questions while doing sentai poses and inserting some japanese words and phrases. The reply was a laugh too.

Met Khan and R2 and went on a picture taking spree. whee!
Met Rika nad Criole while taking a picture of 2 cosplayers.
There was a board with some original characters. Some were nice, others were just silly enough to be nice.

I love conventions. Where else would you find a self-concious Ryu? Kyo with a bow and arrow shouting "CHARGE ARROW!" on stage? A swordie changing his class to a mage? SC shouting "Kanju!" challenging everyone in a costume? intresting facts like, Kyo is really Iori in disguise! Cloud is really Kyo in disguise! Darth Malik is taking volunteers for YATTA! Philippines!

Took pictures of cosplayers during the cosplay parade. May or may not put up pictures depending on my laziness. Bah, announcer couldn't pronounce the names right! R2's camera battery died before the good cosplayers showed up. Sad.

Cosplayers to take note of:
- Bijou with a very large moveable claw
- Edward Elrik(Full Metal Alchemist) with the metal arm and all
- Naruto character with full sized puppet(bad execution though...)
- gunbound character with dragon/tricycle
- Darth Malik complete with voice and lightsaber(never played the game so I'm not sure how accurate the voice was. Sounded great though!)
- LOTR Orc (It just looked great)
- the large One Piece group
- Macross(actual size) and Voltes V(not actual size)
- others, I just don't remember(maybe if I had a chance to post last weekend...)

Then there was the intercession after the cosplay parade:

Bijou was caging people for pictures, heh

"Kyo" was interested in R2's Hsu and Chan comics. They talked(mostly about Maximum Impact)and he imitated some of Iori's attacks(Kyo doing Yaotome... something no one may ever see in a KOF game)

R2 got his magazine adds signed

People were riding on the dragon/tricycle

Cosplayers were battling on stage(especially SC)

The intercession was just great. I shouldn't have left at 7:15. I was able to get permission to stay until 8:00, but by then, it was mostly empty and eventless. I was able to here the cosplay parade though.

I got FLCL vol. 2 and Ragnarok: Into The Abyss vol.6!(about time)

Final Kabihasnan... as a student at least

All other sections went off to assist their respective booths while my section had to partake in a reach-out which I later learned was voluntary. "Thank you for volunteering in this optional reach out" he said. Mr. Antonil just dragged us into it!

Tado, the kid I was assigned to wasn't that bad even though he went to the CR on his own and I have no idea if he was still clean or not. He found the sandwich in my jacket pocket and wanted it for his own but didn't notice the mp3 player in the same pocket. hehe. I wasn't hungry anyway.

Everyone else spent P100+ on toys while all I had to do was let the kid ride the dinosaur and buy him a snack. P52 if I remember correctly. The kids just went back to the retreat house on their own from what I heard. I just followed Tado and ended up there almost exactly when we were supposed to return.

Computer lab line was too long. bah. Went to Netopia instead. Liberation of the Snarks!

Liu got his own Initial D card now! Yay! I got another 3rd place ranking in Rival Schools. I lost another match against Iggy in Initial D *sob* I died too early in Time Crisis.*sob again* Liu and I forgot where we ate last time we were at Shang. Bah. I spent more money than I intended to.

Strangely, I spent most of the time resting by the jail booth. Most probably because Jam was the first person I found.
Benji brought his cousin along. Bea, I think. Jam kept saying she was Benji's girlfriend.

Mwahahahaha, its a nice thought watching the field demo rather than being in it. Baaad parents, showing a bad example to their kids. How many times did the announcers tell them to move backwards?

I said it several times back then, I'll say it again: White is the color of hope! White! Not green! Green is the color of nature, envy, and pr0n!

Cute kids with the peace signs/hubcaps/cut paper plates tied to their necks dancing. Spent most of the time talking with Benji and trying to find out what Benji was telling Bea. Artoo CANNOT fit in that airplane.

Saw Mijo, Khan, and Artoo and lost Benji and Bea at the shooting gallery. This was the one time I tried and failed to hit the targets. Roche made a guest appearance on the back curtain.

Went to Netopia and played with the snarks and gravity setting in Half-life. I'm sure Khan and Artoo didn't mind. /gg Runes joined but we didn't find Liu anywhere 0.o

Plan ambush and spray Khan failed because we didn't see him. Artoo was too intent on tracking down Artoo and Samonte. Benji was too addicted to the shooting gallery. I like orange flavored snow cones.

Khan and Samonte along with two others who I did not recognize were "wandering around the campus aimlessly"(stealing overdose posters). They managed to get a fricking banner. 0.o

It was mostly talking afterwards with the addition of Joey Billedo, Mijo, and Alan Silos later on. No one recognized this guy in a green shirt chatting with us. o.0

Whee, another wall clinging experience in the MRT. People should stop hogging the vertical bars. I'm tired of falling on inappropriate places.
